Make a Squad of Squid a Reality
Many animals have a cool collective noun, like a murder of crows, but squid have the boring 'shoal'. Inspired by this post on Boing Boing I propose to get a squad of squid into general use as a collective noun.
How can you help? It's simple, just use the word 'squad' to describe a group of squid when writing and encourage other people to do it too. The internet can redefine a word, it's been done before, spam used to just be a processed canned meat.
